The Bar Conference is run by the Bar Council for it’s 18,000+ members. Post-COVID the organisers wanted to re-invigorate the conference to make it an unmissable event in the calendar.

Bringing together Barristers from every stage in their careers gave the conference it’s unique appeal.

A simple circle, representing the Bar Council and its members coming together to learn and share knowledge.




THE IDEA
Our idea was deceptively simple. Taking the circle from the Bar Council logo, but re-imagining it as interlocking rings to represent the different members coming together. This was reinforced through the campaign messaging which called on members to ‘Get together’, ‘Build links’ and ‘Join Us’.




THE ROLLOUT
From this core idea, we built out a range of items centred around a simple identity that could be easily updated each year. This included print and digital adverts, social media templates, direct mail, website graphics, exhibition design, an event programme and sponsorship brochure.





We loved the new identity for Bar Conference – it looked brilliant in the lead up to the event across our digital channels as well as physically at the event. It was such an improvement on previous events. We loved working with the team, they were super helpful and understood what we were trying to achieve from the off.
